Julie Forrest Home School

Julie Forrest is a home schooling tutor based in Burgess Hill. She approached me about creating her first website to help communicate her tutoring services for Key Stage 1 and 2 children.

 
We adapted her logo to something a little more colourful and created a simple, but visually appealing, website with easy-access contact forms on each page and bespoke Contact Us form.
 

The site is optimised for search engines targeting parents and guardians looking for home tutors in the Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Crawley and East Grinstead areas. In order to improve her SEO further, we also created her Google My Business listing.

Chefs & More

Chefs and More approached us about creating a website for their hospitality recruitment business. Although they’re based in Devon, they’re a nationwide recruiter, so we were delighted to assist them.

We adopted their current logo and introduced mature colour palettes and fonts to really help establish their brand. We also provided them with a brand guidelines document for their use with future marketing collateral.

The optimised site includes a bespoke recruitment form, where candidates can either upload their own CV or complete a comprehensive online application form.

JOLF

We loved JOLF from the moment they approached us to design and build their website. Based in Haywards Heath, the company teach the sport of golf in primary schools across the South East of England, but use a games-based approach rather than a technical one. Having witnessed it first hand - all the children clearly love it.

They initially provided us with examples websites that they liked and we incorporated many aspects of these into the design.

It was important for JOLF to use the site as a home to the many PDF documents they use and via WordPress, we were able to accommodate this.

We went further to set up an email marketing platform for them using SendinBlue, and design on-brand templates that they widely use today.

Promote Golf

The Promote Enterprise Group consists of 5 different companies offering services to the golf and leisure industry, from e-learning to golf business consultancy.
 
We were asked to create new websites for three of the companies business strands, adhering to their current brand guidelines but developing a consistency across all three sites.
 
Promote Golf shows an example of how we achieved this, using the “Promote” dictionary definition within the home page of all the sites that’ll to re enforce the brand.

Promote Training

Another example of a new site created for The Promote Enterprise Group - Promote Training. This “hung” together with our work on their Promote Golf and Promote Books sites too.

Garon Castle Adventures

We don’t just create brand new websites for clients (although we do like doing that!) - we also adopt websites already designed and built. This is sometimes when our client wants a fresh approach, or is unhappy with their current web provider.
 
One such client, Garon Castle Adventures in Southend, wanted us to update their site with new event information. This included booking and ticket purchase functionality.

Ingrebourne Links Golf & Country Club

Sometimes it’s not necessary to rip up the brand rule book and start from the very beginning. Our email work for Ingrebourne Links Golf & Country Club in Essex adopted their website branding to create visually appealing marketing emails with killer calls-to-action.
 
Open rates exceeded 35% for cold prospect data and 85% for current customer data, with industry-busting click-thru rates too.

The Wise Bear Stories

We were approached by the author of The Wise Bear Stories to help him launch this innovative set of stories helping children deal with life challenges such as bullying and anxiety.
 
We created The Wise Bear Club, where parents and guardians could join to receive free tips, advise and videos on parenting, extending on from the overriding themes of the books.
 
The whole process was automated via the website. Members joined online, which then triggered a number of automated emails giving them periodic access to free materials and advice over the next first six months of their membership.
 
Email automation of this type is a highly effective and time-efficient way of really engaging with your audience and, in turn, gaining valuable prospect and customer data.
